Lost my card - now what ?

Step 1 Who is the card for?

Start by checking how the charging card was used:

  • Personal use

  • Business use (on behalf of a company)
    Stay on this page. Everything you need to know will be explained clearly below.

 

Step 2 What was the card used for ?

A charging card does not work automatically.
It needs to be activated for a specific purpose before it can be used.
Because a Smappee charging card can be used in different ways, it is important to verify how the card was configured and then disable or remove the appropriate options.

All actions must be completed entirely within the Smappee dashboard, either by you or by the employer or the fleet manager.
 

De-activated from public use
This enabled the Smappee charging card to be used on all public charging stations anywhere.
Login to the Smappee dashboard: https://dashboard.smappee.net
Select the board “Public charging”  on the left-hand side.
-> Click the trash bin icon to deactivate the charging card that was lost
-> Order a new charging card
-> activate this new card for public use

 

Remove from a split billing agreement
This enabled the Smappee charge card to be used for automatic reimbursement of charging costs, for example by the employer or leasing company, based on a predefined agreement.
Login to the Smappee dashboard: https://dashboard.smappee.net
Select the board “Split billing”  on the left-hand side.
-> Close the active agreement
-> Order a new charging card
-> Create a new agreement

Delete from whitelisting
This allowed the Smappee charging card to be accepted for free at the companies public charging stations. 
No payment or reimbursement applies here.
Login to the Smappee dashboard: https://dashboard.smappee.net
Select the board “Chargers”  on the left-hand side
-> scroll down on the right side to the card "Whitelisting"
-> Remove the charging card from the whitelisting
-> Order a new card
-> Add new card to the whitelisting

Remove from a group that benefits a special tariff at the companies public charging stations.
Login to the Smappee dashboard: https://dashboard.smappee.net
Select the board “Chargers”  on the left-hand side
-> Scroll down on the right side to the card "Groups"
-> Remove the charging card from the group
-> Order a new card
-> Add new card to the group
