What services does Smappee Services offer?

Smappee Services offers a range of solutions tailored to your needs.

First, determine whether you are acting as a company or as an individual.

As a company:

By registering with your company details, we can set up a formal agreement to handle payments via direct debit, and your company will receive monthly invoices for all applicable services.
After the initial registration for the services you’ve chosen, there’s no need to register again. Through your login on the dashboard, you can always activate and manage additional services whenever needed.
Register your company here :  https://dashboard.smappee.net/register-organisation.

As an individual:

You will need to register and complete a direct debit mandate, so that payments can be automatically deducted from your personal account each month.

As a company:

1 — Split Billing

With Split Billing, Smappee Services facilitates the reimbursement process between the company and the employee.
The employee can charge their vehicle at their home charging station using their company charge card.
Each month, Smappee Services invoices your company for the recorded split billing sessions, along with a fixed subscription fee per agreement. These costs are settled via direct debit.
Smappee Services then transfers the net amount of the charging sessions directly to the employee’s personal bank account.
This system ensures a correct and transparent settlement of charging costs.

2 — Public Charging Point Operator

If you want to make your charging station accessible to third parties, you’ll need to activate the Charge Point Operator (CPO) functionality.
By doing so, you become the operator of a public charging point, making your charger publicly available for others to use — and you'll receive a payment for each charging session.
When public charging is enabled, users can pay for their sessions at your Smappee charging station using either a charging card or by scanning the QR code.
Before doing so, you'll first need to register as a charging host. You can easily complete this registration yourself by filling out our online form.

3 — Business Charging Cards

If your company wants to receive invoices for charging sessions carried out by you or your employees at public charging stations across Europe, you’ll need to activate the EMSP service.
Be sure to register your organization and activate both your own and your employees’ charge cards.

As an individual

1 - Split Billing: Get Reimbursed for Charging at Home

Simply charge your vehicle at home using your company charge card. Each month, Smappee Services takes care of invoicing your employer for your charging sessions, along with a fixed subscription fee as agreed. These costs are settled via direct debit.
Once that’s done, the net amount for your charging sessions is transferred directly to your personal bank account.
It’s a clear, simple, and transparent solution that ensures your home charging costs are reimbursed accurately, without any hassle.

2 — Public Charging Point Operator

The Public Charging Point Operator feature is exclusively available to companies.
Making your charging station publicly accessible and receiving payments for charging sessions is considered a commercial activity. This means it requires a valid VAT number and official business registration.
If you're a private individual without a VAT number, activating the Charge Point Operator (CPO) functionality and operating a public charging point is not permitted.

3 — Private Charging Cards

If you're a private individual and not affiliated with a company, you can easily order and use a Smappee charge card for whitelisting or public charging.
Whitelisting means adding the RFID token of your charge card to the approved list of your charger.
Once whitelisted, your card can start a charging session without any hassle.
Alternatively, you can activate your private charge card for use at public charging stations.
In that case, payments are handled directly from your personal account on a monthly basis.
