Ultra Commissioning

At Smappee, we place the highest priority on ensuring that our Fast Charger products are delivered and installed to meet the quality and standards we uphold.

To guarantee this, every installation of our Fast Charging products must undergo an inspection by Smappee, a process we refer to as Commissioning.

 

Onsite commisioning

If you are located in the BeNeLux region:
  • We will come onsite to do the commissioning.
  • Please send an email to commissioning@smappee.com.
  • You will be asked to prefill a PDF containing basic information of the installation
  • Kindly notify us at least two weeks in advance of installing the Ultra product.

 

Remote commisioning

If you are located outside the BeNeLux region:

  • After installing the Fast Charger product, you will receive a commissioning message in the Smappee App.
  • This installation will also generate a support ticket, and an email will be sent to your installer account.
  • The app will display a phone number you can call during Belgian second-line support hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CET) to start the remote commissioning process with an expert.

If you are outside the Belgian time zone and cannot arrange commissioning during these hours, please notify us in advance by emailing commissioning@smappee.com.

During remote commissioning, the following will be checked:

  1. Product Details:
    • What type of Fast Charging product was installed?
    • What is the serial number?
    • Who is the owner/installer, and what are their contact details?
  2. Photos of:
    • The product itself.
    • The fuse.
    • The wiring connections inside the product.
    • The general environment where the product is installed.
  3. Verification Checklist:
    • Have the transport lifting eyes been removed?
    • Has the product been properly configured (e.g., maximum amperage set)?
    • Does the product recognize all its internal components?
    • Is the product able to charge a vehicle?
