Where to find the Serial number of my installed devices in the Smappee app?

Look up the serial number of your Smappee monitor, your Infinity modules or your charging station directly in the Smappee app.

You need a serial number to identify a device, for example when you contact Smappee support or when you check which hardware is installed at a location. The serial number is printed on the device itself, but you do not have to be at the installation: the Smappee app shows the serial number of every device on the location.

A Smappee serial number is always a 10 digit number.

Note: With the serial number of the charging station or of the Smappee monitor, Smappee support can look up the installation and check it remotely. That is why support asks for this number first when you report an issue.

Serial number of a monitor or an Infinity module
  1. Open the location in the Smappee app and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Smappee monitors. The serial number of the monitor itself is already shown between brackets on this row.
  3. On the Energy monitors screen, tap Infinity modules.
  4. The Infinity modules screen lists every module in the installation with its serial number.

If support asks for one number, it is usually the serial number of the gateway of the installation, for example the Connect. All other modules of the installation are listed on the same screen, so you can pass on the one that is asked for.

Serial number of a charging station
  1. Open the location in the Smappee app and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Charging stations.
  3. Under Smappee charging stations, tap the station you need.
  4. The serial number is shown under Details, below the name of the station.
  5. Further down the same page you find the modules section of that station, for example EV Wall modules, with the internal modules of the charging station.
Serial number on the device itself

If you are at the installation, you can also read the serial number from the device:

  • Smappee monitors and Infinity modules: printed on the back or the bottom of the housing.
  • Charging stations: printed on the identification sticker. The position of that sticker differs per model.
