The Smappee Store is a section in the Smappee app where you install extra apps on your Genius Flex. Each app adds a specific integration or interface. An integration only becomes available after its app has been installed, so this is the first step for anything that connects your Smappee installation to an external system.
- A Genius Flex, installed and online.
- The Smappee app, with access to the service location the Genius Flex belongs to.
Install an app
- Open the Smappee app and check that you are on the service location of your Genius Flex. The location name is shown under the Energy dashboard title.
- Tap Control in the bottom menu.
- Under Integrations, tap Manage on the Smappee Store card.
- Select the app you need from the list, for example MQTT or Modbus/TCP.
- Follow the steps on the app page to complete the installation.
Available apps
The Smappee Store contains, among others:

| Smappee BESS Controller | Control of a Smappee battery energy storage system. |
| Generic MQTT battery | Integration of a third party battery that communicates over MQTT. |
The Smappee Store is expanded over time, so the list in your app may differ.
What happens next
Installing the app only makes the interface available. The connection itself is set up from the side of your external system, by you or by your supplier. Smappee support does not build or maintain third party integrations.
