Replacement Instructions
- Open the unit either by using the provided key (Wall version) or untightening the 6x safety screws (Base version). Place the front plate aside [Key (Wall) or Safety TX20 bit (Base)]
Loosen the 3 screws holding the plastic protection and remove it. [Allen 3]
Disconnect the MID cable from the relays board.
Loosen both the top and bottom screws of the copper bars before taking out the MID out of the unit. [Allen 3]
Remove both the top and bottom lid of the MID. Afterwards remove the shielding cover.
Disconnect the MID cable. [Small flat screwdriver]
Loosen the the top and bottom screws and remove the copper bars. [PH2 Screwdriver]
On the replacement MID remove the top and bottom lid and afterwards remove also the shielding cover.
Reinstall the copper bars on the replacement MID. [PH2 screwdriver - Torque 2.5 N.m]
Put the shielding cover back into place. Reconnect the 2 open ends of the MID cable to the MID. Connect the black cable to the “B-” port and the white cable to the “A+” port [Small flat screwdriver - Torque 0.3 N.m]
Put the top and bottom lids back into place.
Position the MID in the correct position and fasten the Z-bars to the relays board. [Allen 3 - Torque 2.5 N.m]
Reconnect the MID cable to the relays board.
Reinstall the plastic protection with the 3 screws [Allen 3 - Hand-tight]
- Power the unit and check if the MID screen is lighting up.
- Close the unit either by using the provided key (Wall version) or tightening the 6x safety screws (Base version) [Key (Wall) or Safety TX20 bit (base)]
