Replacement Instructions

  1. Open the unit either by using the provided key (Wall version) or untightening the 6x safety screws (Base version). Place the front plate aside [Key (Wall) or Safety TX20 bit (Base)]
  2. Loosen the bottom screws of the RCBO and remove the power lines (and busbar if installed). [PH2 screwdriver]

  3. Loosen the 3 screws holding the plastic protection and remove it. [Allen 3]

  4. Loosen all of the screws holding the copper bars. [Allen 3]

  5. A blue hook at the bottom of the RCBO is locking the device onto the DIN rail. Pull the “hook” downwards and remove the RCBO. [Small flat screwdriver]

  6. Remove the copper bars and reinstall them on the replacement RCBO. [PH2 screwdriver - Torque 2.5 N.m]

  7. Reinstall the RCBO over the DIN rail and lock it into place by pushing the blue hook upwards. [Small flat screwdriver]

  8. Fasten the copper bars back to the relay board using the screws. [Allen 3 - Torque 2.5 N.m]

  9. Reinstall the protection cover [Allen 3 - Hand-tight]

  10. Reconnect the powerlines (and busbar if installed) to the bottom of the RCBOs. Make sure to turn the RCBOON, re-power the unit and check if the EV Dual is starting up. [PH2 screwdriver - Torque 2.5 N.m]
  11. Close the unit either by using the provided key (Wall version) or tightening the 6x safety screws (Base version) [Key (Wall) or Safety TX20 bit (base)]
