Charger Overview
Replacement Instructions
Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the housing. [Safety torx T20H]
Remove the 2 screws holding the door. Place the door in a safe location and remove the housing tube. [Allen 2.5]
Remove both the top and bottom lid of the MID. Remove the shielding cover.
Disconnect the MID cable. [Small flat screwdriver]
Disconnect the (N / L1 / L2 & L3) cables on both side of MID (coming from the RCD & the relays board) [PH2 screwdriver]
A hook at the bottom of the MID is locking the device onto the DIN rail. Pull the “hook” downwards and remove the MID. [Small flat screw driver]
On the replacement MID remove the top and bottom lid and afterwards remove also the shielding cover.
Preposition the replacement MID and connect the the top cables coming from the RCD. Make sure to follow the correct cable order, from left to right (Brown - Black - Grey - Blue) [PH2 Screwdriver - Torque 2.5 N.m]
Push the cables back to their initial position, underneath the relay board.
Put the MID in the correct position over the DIN rail and secure into place by pushing the bottom hook upwards. [Small flat screwdriver]
Disconnect the power supply connector (connector between RCD and MID) to have sufficient room to connect the power lines to the bottom of the MID. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to help rerouting the cables back into place. Connect the relay board cables in the proper order, from left to right (Brown - Black - Grey - Blue) [Needle nose pliers PH2 screwdriver - Torque 2.5 N.m]
Reconnect the power supply connector.
Put the shielding cover back into place. Reconnect the 2 open ends of the MID cable to the MID. connect the full blue cable to the “B-” port and the blue-white cable to the “A+” port [Small flat screwdriver - Torque 0.3 N.m]
Put the top and bottom lids back into place.
- Power the unit and check if the MID screen is lighting up.
Put the casing back on and secure the door with the 2 screws. [Allen 2.5 - Hand-tight]
Install the 2 screws in the bottom. [Safety torx T20H - Hand-tight]
