What Is Split Billing?

Smappee offers a split billing feature through Smappee Services, designed to streamline the monthly

reimbursement process for employees charging their company car at home. This feature ensures employers are

fully relieved of manual calculations and reimbursements.


How Split Billing Works

1. Activation by the Employer

2. Creating a Split Billing Agreement

  • How to add split billing agreements for your employees

    • Once activated, the fleet manager can create new agreements between the employer and employee.

    • For each agreement, the employer specifies:

      • Employee name

      • Employee email address

      • Reimbursement rate(s) for home charging

3. Employee Confirmation

  • The employee receives the agreement and must:

    • Enter their personal payment details

    • Confirm the information

    • Sign the contract electronically

Once the contract is signed, the process becomes fully automated.
