First, you need to distinguish whether you’re ordering a Smappee charging card as a private individual or on behalf of a company.
Secondly, you need to decide what you’ll be using the card for.
Note:
A charging card doesn’t work automatically.
An action must first be linked to it, depending on the intended use.
You have three options:
- Whitelisting: This allows the charging card to be accepted for free at your own charging station. No payment or reimbursement applies. How-do-I-activate-Whitelisting-with-a-Smappee-Smart-Charge-Card-or-other-RFID-card
- Activate for public use: This allows the card to be used at public charging points. There’s no subscription fee for this either. You only pay for the charging session and possibly a 5% roaming surcharge when using non-Smappee stations.
- Use in a split billing agreement: This enables the card to be used for automatic reimbursement of charging costs, for example by your employer or leasing company, based on a predefined agreement.
