Adding your public charger to Chargemap & Google Maps

When you've chosen to set your charging station as a public charger through either our or a third party CPO then your charger will automatically be published on multiple apps such as Shell Recharge, Plugsurfing, EDI, ABRP, Smoov, ...

However, there are also community based charging maps such as Chargemap & Google Maps. In order to publish your charger on these maps you should make a contribution yourself. This is valuable as it will lead to a charger that is more accessible as many users otherwise wouldn't have found the location of your charger. The community based charging maps can also be used for charging stations which are in Scan & Charge mode as these are not automatically added to the charge maps mentioned above.

Adding your chargers on these community based maps is also meaningful for EV drivers as more information can be provided about the charging square such as: opening hours, pictures, a description and nearby places like restaurants. Therefore, you can find this quick tutorial on how to add your charger on both the Chargemap & Google Maps.
