How to change Grid type of the Infinity measurements

Selecting the right Grid Type is essential for accurate measurements and proper load balancing. (see Validating the measurements of your Smappee monitor)

If you accidentally selected the wrong Grid Type during the installation of your Infinity Kit or EV Wall Home — no worries! You can always change your Grid Type afterwards.

Requirements

  • Smappee App
  • Access to the configuration of the Service location
  • Basic knowledge of Infinity Measurement configuration

How to change the Grid Type

  • Open the Smappee App
  • Navigate to the correct Servicelocation
  • Open Settings
  • Navigate to "Smappee Monitors"
  • Select "Load configuration"
  • Open the "Grid" load
  • Select "Phase Type"
  • Now you will get the option to change the Grid Type

 

Please be informed, changing the Grid type can have an impact on the measurements that were already gathered, it can also cause some data loss on CT level of the historical values.
