Congratulations You are halfway to enabling Smappee to safeguard your fuse, control your charger, and ensure charging occurs at the optimal time.

Your are however missing a key component, a Energy Management System.

Why would I need a Energy Management system?

Smappee requires accurate measurement of the energy imported from and exported to the grid in order to effectively regulate the charging speed of the charging station(s). Where applicable, it is also necessary to monitor the production of solar panels and battery systems.

To enable features such as fuse protection and optimized utilization of solar generation, Smappee must be able to measure the contribution of each energy source.

What Energy Management solutions does Smappee offer?

Smappee offer multiple solutions to be installed as a Energy Management System

Requirements

  • The Smappee App
  • A (or multiple) EV Line product(s) that are installed and activated
    • Access to their location in the App
  • A Smappee EMS kit (See mentioned solutions above)
