It might be possible that you will have to share your location with another user.
This is most commonly used in situation where every family member has his own user account. It's also possible you want to show what your consumption or productions looks like to friends or maybe you just want to boast about how effective your car is charging on solar only!
Alternatively, you can also share the location with the installer so he can check if your configuration is correct in case you think it might be off.
As you can see there are a lot of applications for this function. Follow the instructions below to set this up via the Smappee Dashboard:
First, you will have to add a card called shared users to one of your boards. This is not a standard card added to your dashboard template. In the example below we added it to the main board my board.
- Click on my board on the left side of the Dashboard.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the Dashboard.
- In the search field of the new popup (on the top of the popup) enter shared users.
- Click the shared users card that appears in the popup.
- In my board, scroll down all the way. New cards all always added to the bottom of the board.
Now that the card shared users has been added, we can share access to the location with another user. Go to the board shared users and:
- Click +Share with user in the card Shared users.
- Input the username of the user you want to share access with.
- Click Add user. After a refresh of the dashboard or the Smappee app, the location should now be displayed for the other user as well.
